UPDATE: Official package art and full disc details have now been revealed!
It’s official – Blue Underground will be releasing Lucio Fulci‘s Zombie (more commonly known as Zombi 2) on Blu-ray this October. While no details have been revealed at this time, the studio posted this trailer for the disc yesterday, with the following hint at what we can expect from it, when it appears:
- “ZOMBIE has been remastered in 2K from it’s original camera negative. Each flesh-eating frame has been lovingly restored to skull-rotting perfection. This is ZOMBIE like you’ve truly never seen or heard it before!
The Ultimate 2-disc edition overflowing with extensive new extras is coming to Blu-ray and DVD October 2011.
