Alien Anthology Blu-ray set coming Christmas 2010

The Alien Quadrilogy Blu-ray boxed set that was revealed in European flyers last year may not ever make it to our shores. Instead, a recent trade ad (revealed on High-Def Digests forums) has announced that a collection referred to as the Alien Anthology will be released in the USA and Canada for the holiday season of this year!

The inference here is that the box set that we’re going to get might include more than just the four Alien films from the series proper. There’s a chance that it might include the dreadful Alien vs. Predator films as well! Here’s hoping that Fox gives us some choice, making the individual films available on separate Blu-ray discs for those of us who don’t want to suffer through the lesser entries in the series.
