There has been a lot of talk around the internets about Disney‘s Fantasia films having their Blu-ray release pushed back well into 2011. I’m not quite sure where all that nonsense originated but if you ask me, the trailer above is more than enough confirmation from the studio that we’re going to see the discs hitting the shops sometime this year!
No details or art are available for the Fantasia & Fantasia 2000: Diamond Edition Blu-ray discs yet but rest assured, we’ll be all over it when they are. If the studio is affording these discs the amount of attention they did to their Snow White Blu-ray, the Fantasia release is going to be a real winner!
I’m still confused about the release date. Hi Def Digest still lists it as March 2; others do not. My question: Is the March 2 date categorically dead or not? Is Disney offering any definitive answers? Some specifics would be nice.
