I’ve heard from my critic pals that Gavin O’Connor’s Warrior is something like the Footloose of fighting films – cheesy and melodramatic but oddly satisfying. I don’t know about you but I don’t need anyone telling me anything about the film beyond the fact that it’s got young Uncle Owen in the ring with the evil Romulan clone of Captain Jean Luc Picard (aka notorious Batman back-breaker Bane!) to sell me on this bad boy. 48 Hrs. Blu-ray Disc Review

The boys are back in…Blu. C’mon, you knew I’d say it…now, on with the review. 48 Hrs. is an early example of the mismatched, hard-nosed cop/wise-cracking con, buddy movies. Paramount Home Entertainment had previously announced a release in 2009, but the Blu-ray disc failed to materialize.
