This is it! This is the big one in a week full of amazing releases. William Friedkin‘s The Exorcist, an adaptation of William Peter Blatty‘s novel of the same name, was one of the most terrifying films of the seventies and remains so today. Just watching this trailer for the new Blu-ray edition of The Exorcist gives me chills. This is honestly one of the most terrifying films ever made. And I’m anticipating its Blu-ray release being one of the finest and most complete high-def releases of the year. The Exorcist coming to Blu-ray in October

This has been a frustrating week. I’ve had to perform something of an exorcism on The Blu-ray Blog over the last couple of days, as some jerk (or jerks, as the case may be) had taken over the RSS feed, replacing Blu-ray titles and details with pharma-spam.
