Justice League: Season Two finally coming to Blu-ray

Warner Home Video has announced that, at long last, they’ll be bringing the second season of the animated Justice League television show to Blu-ray this coming July, nearly three years after the release of Season One. The initial word on the street was that the video presentation would be the same “matted” letterbox image from the previously released DVD set, where black bars would be seen on all sides of the screen. Thankfully, the good and wise James Harvey of worldsfinestonline.com pulled some strings with his buddies at Warner and was informed that this release will be presented in full 16:9 widescreen, with the image filling the entire screen. So, all seems good with this one, for the time being. Let’s hope we don’t have to wait until 2014 for the next season set on Blu!
