I’ve got good news and bad news for you. The good news – the 5 Disc Blu-ray collection of The Prisoner: The Complete Series is hitting store shelves on October 27th and we’ve got the package art for you! The bad news – it’s more expensive then we had thought it would be. According to the Amazon listing page from earlier in the week, the set is going to retail for $129.95.
All of this news, both good and bad, could prove moot, however as Amazon has suddenly pulled all information from its listing page and replaced the price and release date with a notification sign-up. I hate it when they back pedal like that. Here’s hoping that A&E will get us a press release soon so we can budget out our October Blu purchases!
