I didn’t make it very far into Season 3 of Heroes. In fact, I think I only watched the season premiere. I kept on downloading the season until about December in the hopes of making some time for it but I’ve never gone back. Heroes lost me.
To be fair, this was a show I avoided from the start. I began watching it at my mother’s insistence. (Yes, it’s true. My mother made me do it.) For the better part of the first season I was hounded day in and day out, told that Heroes was a show I should be watching. If I loved comic-books and super-hero stories I would love it. I should watch it. What was wrong with me? Why am I not watching it? Do I want my mother to TIVO it for me? Uhhhh….
So I gave in. I downloaded it. And I loved it. And I stuck with it through the dismal second season. And I gave up on the third. And now my mother is calling me again: Why didn’t I watch season three? What’s wrong with me? Is Sylar good in the Star Trek movie? Uhhh…
The Heroes: Season 3 Blu-ray better come out soon so I can have a normal relationship with my family again.
