Well, it’s about time! It was a year and a half ago that we began to catch wind of a European Blu-ray release for Spielberg‘s A.I. Since then, we’ve been waiting with bated breath for a hint of news that a North American version would be imminent. Finally, Paramount has come to the rescue, announcing a full featured Blu-ray release for this coming February. Looks like the Spielberg titles on Blu are beginning to fill out. After at least a years worth of solid rumours, Universal has finally just confirmed the upcoming Blu-ray release of the Back to the Future Trilogy boxed set! Goonies: Ultimate Collector’s Edition Blu-ray coming in November

Well, this has been a long time coming! The Goonies make their high-def debut this November in a 25th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition Blu-ray boxed set. While I’m completely stoked to watch a brand spanking new transfer of the film on Blu-ray, I can honestly do without all the memorabilia and goo-gahs in this UCE box.
