[VIDEO] Finding Nemo Blu-ray Trailer

At long last, it looks like Finding Nemo is on it’s way to Blu-ray. It’s about time too, as it’s the last Pixar film to be released on the format. No release date or details yet but the trailer embedded above has made its way onto the internets, promising we’ll see some Andrew Stanton and Lee Unkrich fishies in HD sooner rather than later. The best guess, at the moment, is that the disc will hit around the time of the films big-screen 3D release, next September. Okay, I guess that’s kind of later than I’d like. What do you say when one of the best animated films of the last decade makes its way to Blu-ray in a near perfect presentation with a ton of special features? How do you describe a disc of this variety? What words can one possibly use outside of amazing, wonderful, marvelous, spectacular, remarkable, phenomenal, prodigious, breathtaking, extraordinary, unbelievable… All right, there are a lot of synonym’s for incredible. The Incredibles heading to Blu-ray in April

Pixar‘s The Incredibles will make its Blu-ray debut on April 12th in a 4-disc combo pack with a DVD and digital copy. I have to say, despite the fact that the studio has released a ton of brilliant animated films since (Wall-E, UP!, Toy Story 3, etc.) I still consider Brad Bird‘s playful superhero fable my favourite. Toy Story 3 Blu-ray Disc Review

Somehow, I always manage to forget how much I love the Toy Story films. Perhaps it’s just a matter of my age or the passage of time between the original films’ release and the current, modern me. As such, I found that when this most recent sequel was released to theatres I was intrigued but didn’t feel compelled to set aside valuable time to experience it in all its cinematic grandeur. ARGH!! It’s another one of those killer, five-million-amazing-new Blu-ray-disc release weeks! Toy Story 1 and 2 Coming to Blu-ray in March

This is great news! Disney Pixar will be releasing Blu-ray editions of Toy Story 1 and 2 in concert with the theatrical release of Toy Story 3! These films should look spectacular in high-def, as they’ll be transfered to disc directly from the digital files. This is the one case where the age of the film won’t directly effect the quality of the disc. …Continued…
