Final Star Wars Blu-ray package art is the worst thing ever

I’m at a loss for words. I mean, i know it’s just package art and the only thing that really matters with these Blu-ray releases of the Star Wars films is the quality of the films themselves. Oh, and the awesomeness of the bonus stuff, of course. But I can’t help but feel grossed out by the cover art for the three Blu-ray boxed sets. It’s really not good. At all. In fact, I find it off-putting. …Continued…

Wish List: The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back HC Book

I know that this isn’t exactly Blu-ray news – well, it’s not Blu-ray related at all, to be honest – but this is so relevant to those of us who love movies. And beyond relevant to those of us who love (or loved) Star Wars movies. Top 5 New Blu-ray releases for the Week of September 7

All right, this week is completely out of control! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many quality titles released at one time. Especially by a single studio! Warner Home Video must be trying their best to set a record here! They alone have something like twelve or thirteen titles newly available today. Have the holidays come early or something? Crap. I can’t afford all these discs… …Continued…
