[VIDEO] Star Wars Blu-ray: Return of the Jedi deleted scene debut

Looks like our buddies over at The Force.net were able to upload a cam version of the Return of the Jedi deleted scene that was just screened at the Star Wars Celebration, and that will eventually turn up on the Blu-ray collection next year. George Lucas confirms Star Wars Blu-ray set for 2011, previews never-before-seen deleted scene (UPDATED)

I’m not exactly sure how many times it needs to be confirmed but George Lucas just re-iterated on stage at the Celebration V convention that he’s going to unleash the Star Wars saga on Blu-ray disc. This time, however, we’ve got a rough release window to look forward to – the discs will hit shops next year, in 2011. And they will include never-before-seen deleted scenes!! …Continued…

It's Official: Lucasfilm announces 6 film Star Wars Saga on Blu-ray

I’ve said it before (in many posts!) and I’ll say it again – I loves me some Prisoner! Coupled with my love for Blu-ray, you can imagine how I’m just bursting at the seams to get this new Complete Series Blu-ray boxed set from A&E. Thanks to our friends over TVShowsOnDVD.com, we’ve got this full press release, detailing all the goodness that was Patrick McGoohan’s 17 episode long baby.

I’ve got good news and bad news for you. The good news – the 5 Disc Blu-ray collection of The Prisoner: The Complete Series is hitting store shelves on October 27th and we’ve got the package art for you! Confirmed by Lucasfim: Star Wars Saga six-film Ultimate Blu-ray box set being prepared for release

Thank the good lord for Comic-Con! It’s the one event every year where you’re guaranteed to run into directors, producers and studio reps (along with a myriad of questionable costumed miscreants) capable of answering your burning home video questions. And this year, Examiner.com’s Bryan Young hunted down and interrogated Steve Sansweet, the head of Fan Relations at Lucasfilm. Like us, Bryan wanted to know about the possibility of seeing the Star Wars Saga on Blu-ray. [VIDEO] Wish List: Marvel Anime on Blu-ray – Wolverine, Iron Man and more!

Ok. I really wasn’t expecting this. Marvel has teamed up renowned Japanese animation studio Madhouse (Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers) and multiple-Eagle Award winning writer Warren Ellis to create four new animated versions of classic superhero stories. The comic book publisher released trailers for two of the series, expected to begin airing in Japan next year. Check out the incredible Iron Man trailer above, and Wolverine below!
