What can I say? Another DC Comics animated adaptation about to hit Blu-ray and I’m as excited as can be. Especially after watching this clip that Warner just sent over. I admit to not reading the comic (not a big fan of Ed McGuinness’ chunky style of drawing people) but the story looks to be a hell of a lot of fun. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies comes to Blu-ray September 29 (Updated with Package Art)

I love waking up to a good press release!

Warner Home Entertainment has forwarded details of their upcoming Superman/Batman: Public Enemies film, coming to Blu-ray and DVD on September 29. Too bad they left out the package art. Weird. They had it plastered all over the Warner press event a couple of weeks ago. Maybe that was just a temporary tease. Dunno.

It’s been almost a year since the great Sydney Pollack passed on. Probably best known for his award winning films, Out Of Africa and Tootsie, Pollack was more than just a talented director. He was also an actor and good, close friend of Robert Redford. After sharing the screen in the 1962 film War Hunt, the two men would go on to make six more films together, not least of which is Three Days of the Condor, available now on Blu-ray. …Continued…
