I haven’t seen the show or read the comic books but I understand that The Walking Dead is some of the best Zombie stories the genre has yet produced. And this trailer for AMC‘s upcoming Blu-ray set of the series’ first season appears to bear that out. Well, it’s not really the strongest week of new Blu-ray releases but given that it’s the end of summer and nobody wants to launch a film at the lowest sales-point of the year, I’m not terribly surprised. That said, we’re beginning to see boxed sets of last years TV seasons crop up in anticipation of their upcoming 2010 network debuts which will lead us into the veritable explosion of titles through September and October. …Continued…

[VIDEO] Ghost in the Shell 2.0 Blu-ray Trailer

Just like the video says, we’re going to be seeing Ghost in the Shell 2.0 on Blu-ray and in stores October 26th. Unless the video is wrong and Amazon is correct. In which case, we’ll be seeing it on November 24th. Pay close attention to the newly created CGI footage that director Masamune Shirow has cut into the film. I’m not sure if it blends. If it works.
