The Muppets coming to Blu-ray in March

Congrats to The Muppets, Jason Segel and Conchord Bret McKenzie for their Oscar win last night. As much as I enjoyed Rio, I was pretty pleased to see the old Henson bunch take home the statue and particularly excited for McKenzie, who’s proven a brilliant songwriter and comedian for years on his sensational show Flight of the Conchords. Sadly, for those of us in the throes of exhilaration, excited to watch the film again or for the first time, we can’t rush out and grab a copy on Blu-ray just yet. Disney has a March 20th release date set for both the 2-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and the 3-disc version, which will also include a digital copy of the film and a download card that will let you get that award winning music off the internets and onto your personal listening device of choice. Can’t wait!!
