I’ve heard from my critic pals that Gavin O’Connor‘s Warrior is something like the Footloose of fighting films – cheesy and melodramatic but oddly satisfying. I don’t know about you but I don’t need anyone telling me anything about the film beyond the fact that it’s got young Uncle Owen in the ring with the evil Romulan clone of Captain Jean Luc Picard (aka notorious Batman back-breaker Bane!) to sell me on this bad boy. I’m in! I’ll be grabbing it up on Blu-ray when it hits store shelves on December 20th.
