I’m glad to see Warner‘s ‘Maximum Movie Mode’ making a triumphant return on this Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Blu-ray disc. I do fear, however, that a lot of Part 2 spoilers may lie in wait for me within the bevy of special features here. I’ve spent the last number of years avoiding those critical story points, hoping to have a fresh experience as a fan of the films who hasn’t read the books. Depite my love for the MMM, I’ll never forgive it if it throws a monkeywrench into my plans for maintaining narrative purity.

• Maximum Movie Mode: join host Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy), and other members of the cast and crew, on an interactive journey through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. Plus, revisit important moments from the previous films to prepare for the final battle that takes place in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
• Exclusive sneak peek of a scene from the upcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2
• Dan, Rupert and Emma’s Running Competition: while filming the escape scene from the Snatchers in Swinley Forest, Dan, Rupert and Emma engage in a little competition of their own.
