Is it Christmas already? It seems that Warner Home Video is about to unleash another couple of Harry Potter Ultimate Edition Blu-ray boxed sets, despite the fact that it’s only been a few months since the last pair hit the shops. Both Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix: Ultimate Collector’s Edition and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released on June 14th, just in time to promote the final installment of the popular film franchise as it opens in cinemas worldwide in July. Both sets continue the features and format of the already existing editions, each containing a further episode of the eight-part “World of Harry Potter” documentary, a digital copy of the film, the special features from the previously available home video versions, a 44-page hardcover book, collectible cards and more. From the looks of things, we can expect to see the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2 Ultimate Collectors Editions on store shelves in time for the holiday season.

So what happened with the extended edition that was supposed to be the ultimate edition? I guess once again Warner preferred making money to make people double or triple dip.
