I can't wait, this was the best film of the summer! Two problems with the blu-ray release...
1. No DTS track? Come on!
2. No digital copy??

I'm really excited for this movie on blu-ray but can anyone from the authors, please, change the sound from Dolby Digital to DTS??

Star Trek contains so much incredible sound effects that I am VERY sure will be lost in Dolby Digital (Check out Iron Man on Blu-Ray, the sound was appalling!!), and the current market penetration of Dolby Digital HD is only 4% which is nothing! DTS is the way to go and I want to enjoy this movie to it's fullest. Can ANYONE do something?! Delay the release for month month if necessary - I don't care just give everyone DTS so all can be awed like when we all watched it in the cinemas!

[...] Harry Barber over at TNMC got his hands on a version of JJ Abrams’ Star Trek script. From the description he gives, it doesn’t sound like the shooting script (there’s a major difference involving the death of the villain’s henchman that would have required a solid round of rewrites) but it does give us a look at what some of the deleted scenes on the Blu-ray will reveal (read our full run-down of the upcoming disc).
