Here’s a whole crap-load of announcements that have dropped in the last couple of days, most of which I couldn’t give a rat’s ass about. I mean, I loved Doug Liman‘s Go when I watched it. But that was a long time ago. And I’ve never really felt inspired to take a trip back and revisit it. I’m kind of excited about New York Ripper for a couple of reasons, despite never having seen it: One, it’s a Lucio Fulci film (it’s gonna be trashy fun!) and two, it’s from Blue Underground.
Blue Underground are like the Criterion of B-Movies, grabbing up the good stuff and providing the titles respectful releases. I’ll check out pretty much anything they deliver. Aside from that, this list of new Blu-ray release announcements kind of bores me. And, in the case of Hannah Montana, kind of offends me!
(That said, I’m quite pleased with myself for including Miley Cyrus in a list with Lucio Fulci. Could this be a world’s first?)
