Braveheart, Gladiator, Star Trek: The Next Generation Films Coming To Blu-ray

Hot damn, if I had a few more details about these releases they would’ve made amazing individual posts. As it is, this is barely news at this time. Just a rumour of some titles and their potential release dates. But what a list of titles!!!
Bill Hunt, scoop-meister and editor over at our favourite home video site, The Digital Bits, has blackmailed his contacts at Paramount once again, putting the screws to them, until they gave up their upcoming Fall slate of release titles. Check out the golden nuggets of truth he came away with:

September 1: Braveheart
September 15: Deep Impact, Escape from L.A., 48 Hours
September 22: Star Trek: The Original Series - Season 2, Gladiator: Extended Edition, Galaxy Quest
November 3: Forrest Gump, It’s a Wonderful Life
And somewhere in there, in and around the mid-October/November area, we’re going to see another Trek-splosion on Blu-ray, right around the home video release of the new J.J. Abrams re-imagining. Paramount is rumoured to debut their Star Trek: The Next Generation - Original Motion Picture Collection Box-set at that time (including the films Generations, First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis…yay?), along with individual releases of the six old-school Kirk/Spock films already available in the previously released box-set.
