Blu-ray Announcement Round-up: Gone With the Wind, Willy Wonka, Iron Monkey, Drunken Master, Hero, Zatoichi

Lots of announcements these last few days, very little in the way of follow up information. All of the films listed below have been announced for release on Blu-ray but have yet to be fully detailed by Warner or Miramax. Here’s what we know so far:

Gone With the Wind Large art Blu-ray

Gone with the Wind: 70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition will hit the shops on November 30. MSRP – $84.99

Willy Wonka Blu-ray

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) will be released on Blu-ray in a Digibook edition (38 page book) on October 20. MSRP – $34.99

Ultimate Force of Four Blu-ray Box setIron Monkey Blu-rayThe Legend of Drunken Master Blu-ray
Miramax will release four martial arts films separately or in a box-set called “The Ultimate Force of Four“ on September 15th. No other details yet on Hero, The Legend of Drunken Master, The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi or Iron Monkey. MSRP – $109.99 (MSRP $39.99 each)
