Tokyo prepares for another giant monster onslaught as Godzilla hits Blu on September 22
September 22nd can’t come soon enough for this reporter! That’s the day that Classic Media brings the original 1954 Japanese big-monster classic Gojira (AKA Godzilla, King of the Monsters) to Blu-ray. This new high-definition master will provide the first-ever look at the original, uncut Japanese version as well as the heavily butchered North American edit of the film in stunning 1080p!
With Classic Media new to the Blu-ray game (this is their first release) we can’t know what to expect from them in the high-def arena but if their DVD releases are any indication they truly care for the Godzilla property and will most likely go to great lengths to get this release right!
