Hold onto your frakin’ hats, Galactica fans! The Galactica Sitrep site is reporting today that an inside source has disclosed a July 28, 2009 release date for the entire series on Blu-ray. Scoopmeister Bill Hunt of TheDigitalBits.com has confirmed this with his people at Universal and claims that a formal announcement will be hitting the wire any day now.

Lionsgate will Terminate the holes in your Blu-ray collection on May 12th

Lot’s of updates coming down the pipe today. In addition to the following details of the Pixar fliks and Universal’s Academy Award nominated Frost/Nixon, Lionsgate Home Entertainment has informed us of their upcoming Terminator 2: Judgment Day – Skynet Edition to see release on May 12th, timed to coincide with the feature film sequel set to Bale-Out all humanity this summer. Lionsgate will also be releasing a monster 6 disc “Complete Collector’s Set” featuring the Blu-ray along with Extreme and Ultimate Edition DVD versions of the film and a digital copy. Yowza!

Details of the Blu-ray disc and the Limited Edition 6 disc set (in shiny robot head package!) are now available thanks to IGN.com:
