All the X-Men films on Blu-ray…at long last

Brett Ratner‘s third installment in Marvel’s X-Men series was one of the first films to see release on the Blu-ray format. At long last, Fox has announced their plans to make the first two films, both directed by Bryan Singer to the format.

April 21st will see the release of ‘X-Men‘, ‘X2: X-Men United‘, and a double-dip of ‘X-Men: The Last Stand‘ on Blu-ray, delivered as two-disc sets with 1080p AVC video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks. Special features have yet to be announced but expect a repurposing of the extras from previous DVD releases. Stay tuned!
